Mobile Responsiveness
Responsive design is critical in ensuring an optimal user experience across all devices and screen sizes. By designing with responsiveness in mind, we can ensure that our products and services are accessible to all users, regardless of the device they are using. This is essential to our brand's success and our commitment to inclusivity and user satisfaction.
Color Contrast
We should always strive to maintain adequate color contrast in our brand's design to ensure a seamless user experience for all. It ensures that content is easily distinguishable and readable by all users, regardless of visual ability. Read more about logo contrast.
Text Size & Contrast
To ensure legibility and meet accessibility standards, we recommend a minimum body text size of 16pt for digital formats. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) level AA specifies a 4.5:1 color contrast between text and background for normal text, and 3:1 for large text. This ensures that viewers with color blindness or low vision can read the text without difficulty. Learn more about Acolad typographic requirements to ensure compliance.
Alt Text
To ensure accessibility, all image content presented to the user should have a corresponding text alternative that serves the same purpose. This provides the information in multiple formats to meet the specific needs of all users.
