Main Purpose
The Senior COA Licensing Expert is crucial for enhancing our capacity to deliver linguistic validation and consultation services, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of COAs to inform project decisions.
- Oversee the licensing process for COAs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining updated knowledge of industry regulations.
- Prepare, review, and accurately file all necessary documentation for COA applications.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather information and materials for successful submissions.
- Develop and uphold best practices for COA licensing processes to enhance efficiency.
- Provide training and support for internal teams on licensing and compliance procedures.
- Serve as the primary liaison between external partners and internal stakeholders on COA licensing matters.
- Address challenges related to validated translations, ensuring regulatory standards and content integrity are maintained.
- Establish tools and forms at project inception to assist in license research and client support.
- Communicate and implement translation and COA requirements to internal teams, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Create and maintain an internal reference database.
- Respond to ad hoc research requests from clients regarding translation availability and prior licensing information.
- Organize network folders effectively.
- Maintain trackers for setup activities to ensure efficient monitoring and coordination.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by fostering positive relationships with clients and addressing their needs throughout the licensing process.
Requirements:
Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience specifically in licensing and linguistic validation for clinical trials.
- Understanding of clinical trial lifecycle and relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, EMA).
- Proficiency in project management, quality management, and process improvement.
- Ability to navigate complex requests and uphold standards.
- Well-versed in creating reports and presentations.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Good time management skills and maintain the highest standards of quality work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.)
- Independent user - Experience with CRMs.
- Independent user - Adobe Acrobat
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of additional language(s) a plus
