Every year, on March 8, International Women’s Day (IWD) celebrates and raises awareness for female empowerment and leadership, human rights and gender equality. Together, we’re striving for a world free of biases, stereotypes and discrimination. A place that is diverse but at the same time equitable and inclusive. It’s a big goal, but whether it’s in our community, workplace, educational setting or elsewhere, together we can enact change.
Together, we can #breakthebias – the theme of this year’s IWD.
At Acolad, we are proud to stand for equality and celebrate women’s achievements! We believe in collective action and shared responsibility for driving a gender-balanced world.
To show how invested we are in this initiative, in the week leading up to IWD we showcased Acolad’s amazing female influencers and leaders through a series of social media posts in which they struck up this year’s impactful IWD pose and shared how they plan to #breakthebias while encouraging others to take up the challenge.
