Acolad strengthens industry-leader status with acquisition of language services and transcription expert Ubiqus

With 30 years of existence, more than 15,000 customers globally and 550 employees, Ubiqus will further enhance Acolad’s global Language Services footprint. The combined businesses will offer a full suite of translation, localization, interpreting and transcription services, in more than 300 languages combinations.

This is the tenth acquisition in Acolad’s story, and the group has now passed the symbolic threshold of 2,500 employees. With a combined turnover of 330 million euros for the year 2021, Acolad stands out as one of the top worldwide leaders in the language industry. Ubiqus’ footprint in key regions such as France, North America, UK, Ireland, Belgium, Spain and Italy will further consolidate Acolad’s geographical reach and service deployment capability.
