Acolad’s new CRO, Gráinne Maycock, sat down with Slator’s Florian Faes to talk about how the group enables growth through sales and marketing.
In the 30-minute podcast, Maycock detailed how cultivating top performing sales talents and driving a customer-centric approach to the market are paramount to the company’s strategy.
The conversation was part of the SlatorPod series, a weekly language industry podcast where the most important news and trends in translation, localization, and language technology are discussed, hosted by Slator’s Florian Faes and Esther Bond.
The interview covered Gráinne Maycock’s path in the LSP industry, from the early days in production roles to her current position as Chief Revenue Officer.
On Acolad’s positioning and strategy, Gráinne Maycock also shared several insights:
“To keep an organization delivering to the best of its ability on an excellent customer experience, you need to know what you’re good at!”, said Gráinne Maycock, when asked about how Acolad kept focus, when new trends and novel technologies pop up every day in the Content and Localization space. And she added, “We look at language and we look at content and we look at what we can do to had value to that - for our clients, for the translation teams that we work with and all of the services that have grown around it and make it a place where there is no solution that we can’t provide.”
