The Job Role

  • Designing and implementing automated deployment processes and configuration of servers, containers, and cloud services (EKS, ECS, Dockers, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Optimizing resource utilization, scalability, and cost-effectiveness by implementing infrastructure as code practices.
  • Managing CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous integration. This involves managing version control systems, integrating testing frameworks, and orchestrating deployment workflows.
  • Monitoring system performance and security, setting up alerts and notifications to detect and respond to issues proactively, minimising downtime and optimising system performance.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for infrastructure setups, deployment procedures, troubleshooting guides, and other relevant information to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
  • Integrating security best practices security into the software development lifecycle, ensuring that applications and infrastructure adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Exigences:
  • Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role
  • Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows
  • Linux Fundamentals, Coding and Scripting.

·        Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for scalable infrastructure and CI/CD toolkits.

  • Mastery in automation tools for setting up infrastructure, configurations, and CI/CD pipelines, such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and fix system issues, ensuring smooth operation of systems.
